You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers!

  • When investing in your home, whether you’re planning on putting $10,000 into furniture and décor or $100,000+ into a remodel, having an Interior Designer is an insurance policy for both functionality and aesthetics. With the plethora of options available for every selection you’ll make, the more elements you’re balancing, the easier it is to miss-select without a design professional. In addition to optimizing your financial investment, our team is here to save you headaches in the construction process by working hand-in-hand with architects, contractors, and trade professionals to advocate on your behalf and make sure the details are executed appropriately. We are also trained on everything from the pros and cons of various material options, paint colors, layout and space planning, and lighting selections. Without a trained designer, it’s very easy for updates to become costly and overly stressful; we are here to help alleviate that stress and make sure your project is done right!

  • We suggest hiring an interior designer before or around the time of hiring an architect, builder, or general contractor. A knowledgeable designer enhances the project and works to ensure the end result delivers on your vision. Starting a large home project without an interior designer is like making a movie without a director. There’s no one holding the full vision along with its many details and no one sharing information with the team in a way they are used to processing it. With a designer on board, you have someone managing all the decisions and who knows precisely how all of the many pieces of your large project puzzle impact each other. An interior designer takes the big vision with all its small intricacies and orchestrates them to create a beautiful end result.

  • There are many factors that influence how long a project takes because every space and scope are unique, as are our clients. Project length largely depends on the scope of the project, the level of project management needed, and the decisiveness of our clients. We typically work on projects that range from six months to two years depending on project scope.

  • Your planned investment is where your project’s realistic picture begins, and we cannot start a project without a plan. Your planned investment is the roadmap that shows us the right lanes to navigate in finding and delivering the best for your home. We will walk through the process of estimating your investment based on our prior experience and analysis of past projects. Most of our clients will know how much they want to invest but may not know what is reasonable to spend on furnishings and design within their project scope. We guide you through all of this with utmost transparency.

  • We are selective on the number and types of projects that we take on. We want to make sure we are a good fit for you and your project is a good fit for our team and project load. We typically take on ten projects at one time, up to three major renovations or new builds and around seven smaller renovations or furnishings clients. We never take on too many projects at one time for our team’s workload (and sanity!) and to ensure that we give you and your project the time and attention that you deserve.

  • Part of our process is to not only make sure we are a good fit for you but that your project makes sense for us too. Typically we work on projects that involve renovation or furnishing for 2+ rooms. Our current project Design Investment Minimum is $8,000 (not including any furnishings or remodeling work)

  • Full-Service Design is entirely turnkey from start to finish. We will create floor plans, design boards, elevations, and renderings, and procure finish samples to bring your design vision to life. You’ll get to see, feel, and interact with all of the elements to eliminate the guesswork as to the final product of your home’s transformation. Next, we take care of all the ordering, procurement, site visits, communication with contractors, and finally, installation!

  • Interior Design is much like hiring a baker to make a wedding cake. You trust they are buying the highest quality ingredients and mixing, sculpting, and baking it all at the perfect temperature and will deliver exactly what you budgeted and dreamed of. We are also a service, and part of the magic we deliver is keeping the original intent intact throughout the process. We work extremely hard to ensure the many moving pieces come together at the exact right moments without sacrificing time, quality, or money. It’s tempting to do your own shopping to save money. Yet, in the end, experience has shown us it inevitably costs our clients in scale and quality mistakes, which results in buying items twice and experiencing frustration from the extra costs.

  • For select projects, absolutely! Did you see our TENNESSEE PROJECT? We take on remote projects that make sense for our team; additional travel expenses will apply.
